Chardham opening date in 2025
Char Dham Yatra is a spiritual journey to the four holy pilgrimage sites of Uttarakhand. These pilgrimage places are – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. According to scriptures it is said that a person must visit Chardham at least once to attain salvation or the person becomes free from the process of life and death.In Chardham, first of all Yamnotri is visited, then Gangotri, then Kedarnath and finally Badrinath.
Some fact about chardham :- It is said that Yamnotri Darshan is done in Chardham so that the human body can get free from the bondages. And after having darshan of Gangotri Ji, he gets freed from all his sins by taking bath and darshan in Ganga Ji. Lord Bholenath is present in the form of Shivalinga in Kedarnath Dham, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.Badrinath ji's darshan is done so that one attains salvation. Both Nar and Narayan are found in Badrinath Dham.
Chardham ji the doors will be opened:- The doors of Shri Badrinath Dham are likely to open on May 2 at 4:15 am for the Char Dham Yatra in the year 2025. At the same time, the doors of Kedarnath Dham are also likely to open at 5 am on april 30.
Darshan of yamnotari ji :- The temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and houses a black marble idol of the goddess. The approximately six km long walking route connecting Yamunotri Dham is difficult as well as risky. And the door will open of yamnotari on 30 april.
Darshan of Gangotari:- Gangotri Temple opens its doors for darshan pilgrimage every year on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya in April-May. It is a sacred rock on which King Bhagiratha prayed to Lord Shiva. From Shri Gangotri Dham one can have divine darshan of the holy water stream of Mother Ganga. Gangotari will start from 30th April.
Darshan of kedarnath:- The best time to visit Kedarnath is from April to October. Kedarnath Temple Opening Date: 2 May 2025 Morning 6:20 AM This temple is at an altitude of 3,584 meters above sea level. This temple is one of the Char Dham and Panch Kedar. Lord Kedarnath is installed in the form of Shivling in the Kedarnath temple. According to a legend related to the Kedarnath temple, after the end of the Mahabharata war, the Pandavas wanted to get rid of the sin of killing all the Kaurava brothers and other captives because the Pandavas wanted to see Shiva who was angry with them. Shiv ji became an inner meditation by going to Kailash.
Darshan of badrinath:- Badrinath or Badrinarayan Temple is a Hindu temple located on the banks of Alaknanda River in Chamoli district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is a temple dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. By having darshan of Lord Nar-Narayan in Badrinath, all the sins of a person are destroyed and he also attains liberation from life. The doors of Badrinath will open on 2nd May.
