Some special things about Kumbh Mela:-

Kumbh Mela is called Kumbh Mela, the first bath here is taken by Sadhus and Naga Sadhus only. Kinnar Akhara was launched in 2013 or 2019. This Akhara displayed arts like drama, music, dance, and painting in the Kumbh Mela. When the Kumbh Mela starts, the planets Sun, Moon, Jupiter and Saturn have a special significance.


Importance of Akharas in Kumbh Mela:- 


In the MahaKumbh Mela, you are also given an Akhara tour in which there is a spiritual center of Sadhus or Naga Sadhus or in the Akhara, you get to know about the sacred life of Sadhus. The Akhara has great importance in the Kumbh Mela. People who come to take bath also come to the Akhara to take the blessings of the sadhus here. There are some famous Akharas in the Akhara Tour in Kumbh Mela such as


Juna akhada:- Shripanch Dashnam Juna Akhara is the largest and oldest Akhara of Sadhus in India. 


Digambar akhada:-


In Shri Digambar Ani Akhara, Ani means group or camp. The head of this Akhara is Krishnadas Maharaj.


There are about 450 Akharas of this Akhara across the country. 


Kinnar akadha:- Talking about Kinnar Akhara, a Kinnar has to follow some of their rules to join To join Kinnar Akhara, eunuchs have to leave their previous jobs. Apart from this, they have to make the Peethadhishwar of any one of the ten monasteries of the Akhara as their Guru. 


Niranjan akhada:- In the Kumbh Mela, during the Peshwai of Niranjani Akhara, the palanquin of the presiding deity of the Akhara, Lord Kartikeya is also carried.

Atal akhada:- kumbh mele: This Akhara is considered to be one of the most ancient Akharas. The Nagas of this Akhara were the first to come forward to face religious attacks in the 14th century during the time of Khilji and Tughlaq.

According to mythology, during the churning of the ocean, four drops of nectar fell at four places. These places are - Prayagraj(Allahabad), Haridwar, Ujjain, and Nashik.
