Uttrakhand Chardham Yatra have many sightseeing places their whole trip these sightseeing places begin from the Haridwar when pilgrimage start their Chardham Yatra. All the places gives relief and motivation to pilgrimage heart and mind.
Sightseeing from Haridwar to Barkot
The main starting point of Chardham Yatra is Haridwar. When pilgrimages start their Chardham Yatra from Haridwar then they cover on the way places of sightseeing’s which are visiting places. Har Ki Paudi, Mussoorie are main places here for the sightseeings.
Har ki Pouri- Har Ki Pauri is the pilgrimage place of Haridwar where devotees still go when they visit Haridwar. Here a huge form of Ganga river is found and all the devotees take bath in the Ganga and visit the temple.
Mussoorie- Mussoorie is a hill station of Uttrakhand, generally everyone visit here in the Chardham yhatra as sightseeing. In Mussoorie here is a water fall which knows as the name of Kempty fall. Tourist from all over the India and foreign comes here, they take bath and click the pictures and the memories.
Sightseeing from Barkot to Uttarkashi
Barkot has the first place of Yamunotri temple. This temple is devoted to river Yamuna. Yamunotri had 6 km trek. That pilgrimage cover by the walk, horse ride and palki. Yamuna river had the Yamuna river near the temple and the actual source of Yamunotri is Glacier.
Jan Ki Chatti- In 1946 there was a lady who knows by the name of Janki Devi, she established a Dharmshala in the Beef Village and that village called the Jan Ki Chatti at this time in the memory of Janki Devi.
Here is a Tough trek from the Hanumanchatti to Jankichatti because of hill on this place. Janakichatti has hot water springs which attract pilgrimages. Pilgrims take a dip in these hot springs and visit Yamunotri Temple along with other religious places. There is no shortage of natural beauty in Janakichatti, it provides happiness to the hearts of pilgrims with its beautiful rivers, forests and waterfalls.
Sightseeing from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi
There is a distance of approx 200 km between Uttarkashi and Guptkashi which is completed in approximately seven hours. On the way to this distance, many sightseeing places are visited by the pilgrimage.
Kashi Vishwanath Temple- Normally people know about Kashi Vishwanath temple of Varanasi but there is also a Kashi Vishwanath temple in Uttarkashi which is very ancient and it is believed that this temple was established by Guru Parshuram. This temple is situated on the banks of Bhagirathi:
The Shivalinga installed in this temple is bend of South and is 56 centimetres high.
Sightseeing from Guptkashi to Kedarnath
On the Kedarnath rout here are two main places for visit that is River Mandakini and on of the most famous Triyuginarayan temple.
Triyuginarayan Temple- Triuginarayan temple is famous for Shiva or Parvati because Lord Shiva
And the marriage of Goddess Parvati took place in this temple, hence it is believed that the couple who gets married here is always happy and the blessings of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are always with that couple.
Sightseeing from Guptkashi to Badrinath
After kedarnath darshan, people Guptkashi returns and from here again moves towards Badrinath where he covers places like Rudrprayag, Panchprayag, Vyas cave, Bhim cave and Mana villages and many places also like this.
Mana Village- Mana village is the last or most ancient village between India and China, where even today we can see the old things. That's why when pilgrimage go to Badrinath, they definitely like to visit Mana village once.
