Mahakumbh is going to be organized in Prayagraj in 2025. Shastras believe that if a person takes bath in the Mahakumbh Mela held every 12 years then all the troubles go away and by taking bath one gets freedom from all the sins or the person gets free from the cycle of life and death.


Meaning of mela in kumbh mela  :-


When many people gather at one place for some social, religious, business or other reasons, it is called a fair. Different types of activities are seen in the same fair and different types of shops are set up in the fair and there can be means of entertainment. In the fair, people come from different places, meet together and live out their religious ideals.

Pilgrims coming for Kumbh Mela must do Panchkroshi Parikrama in Prayagraj. By doing Panchkroshi Parikrama in Kumbh, one definitely gets both salvation and virtue. More than 6 steps have been made near Ganga Yamuna or Sangam and this teen vidya is considered to be the most sacred Antvardi, middle altar, outer altar, these are the three altars where people go in saree.


It is said in Kumbh that after taking bath in Sangam, one should circumambulate Panchkroshi. By circumambulating Panchkroshi one gets blessings from all the gods, goddesses, saints, saints and people.
