Maha Kumbh Mela 2025: New rules raised by the government
In Maha Kumbh 2025, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Aditya Yoginath ji has made many new rules for the convenience of the devotees, which are as follows -
Provision of free ration and food to devotees in Maha Kumbh Mela 2025: Along with organizing stores for the devotees in the Kumbh Mela area, the facility of free ration will also be available so that no devotee sleeps hungry in the mela.
New ration cards will be made: To provide free ration during the fair, new ration cards will be made by the administration for the Kalpavasis and devotees living in Mahakumbh. Through these ration cards; all the devotees will get the facility of free ration. Apart from this, those who already hold ration card will also be given free ration by the administration on showing the card.
There will also be facility of LPG: In the Kumbh Mela 2025, devotees will be provided free ration and food grains as well as cooking gas. So that people do not face any problem in cooking. It has been decided to install outlets for LPG cylinders for easy access to gas.
Arrangements for security of devotees in Maha Kumbh: It is expected that a crowd of 400 to 450 million people will gather in Mahakumbh 2025 due to which the government has made strict arrangements for the safety of the devotees like-
To ensure that people do not face any kind of trouble, the government will appoint 4000 guides, sailors and taxi drivers for the Kumbh Mela by giving them 5 days of training. For this, the age of the person has been kept between 18 to 60 years and 12th pass, they can guide the devotees and they will also be paid for this.
Maha kumbh mela 2025 app: The Kumbh Mela authority has launched the 'Maha Kumbh Mela 2025' app with the aim of providing better facilities and guidance to the devotees. Along with the location of ghats and temples, details of major religious places of Prayagraj have also been made available on this app, so that devotees will not have to wander to reach the destination. After downloading and opening the app, devotees can select the 'Get Direction to Ghat' option in the 'Plan Your Pilgrimage' section on its homepage. With this feature, devotees can visit seven major ghats of Prayagraj like
You will be guided to Dashaswamedh Ghat, Fort Ghat, Rasulabad Ghat, Boating Ghat, Maheva Ghat, Saraswati Ghat and Gyan Ganga Ghat.
Rules for police administration: Some strict guidelines have been given for the police administration in Mahakumbh like-
· The government has clearly stated that the police deployed at Kumbh should not be non-vegetarian or alcoholic.
· Apart from this, they should also be honest and good in conduct.
· The age of police constable posted in kumbh mele should not be more than 40 years, age of chief constable should not be more than 50 years and age of inspector and sub inspector should not be more than 55 years, all employees should be physically and mentally healthy.
· All policemen will have to follow all the rules made by the government, otherwise strict action will be taken against the police administration.
