It is said that Lord Vishnu comes here to rest for six months. There is a sacred place of Nar Narayan in Badrinath Dham of Chardham. Here Nar Narayan is worshipped. In Badrinath, Mata Lakshmi had taken the room of Badri tree.

There is a place in Badrinath called Bhima Pul which according to the scriptures when Pandavas were traveling on Shwargrohini the tab Dropati Ji was not able to cross the river and then Bhima placed a huge rock in the middle of the river for his beloved wife which was created by Bhima. The bridge is called Bhim Pul.

About Vyas Cave of Badrinath:-

There is a village in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, where there is a mysterious cave, Vyas Cave, which is said to have composed Mahabharat poetry thousands of years ago here with the help of Lord Ganesha. It is said about the Vyash cave that the walls of this cave are visible on the panes, it is said that there are secrets hidden in these panes which are known only to Ved Vyash ji or Lord Ganesha.
