Kumbh Mela is the most sacred festival in Hindu religion. Kumbh Mela is the most popular peaceful gathering of pilgrims on earth. Mahakumbh is celebrated every 12 years. Kumbh Mela is organized every 12 years at four places. It is celebrated in Haridwar, Ujjain, Nashik and Prayagraj.
According to Puradic stories, it is said that Lord Vishnu was carrying the nectar of nectar for the gods on his chariot Aquarius, when demons tried to snatch it. During that period, the nectar of Kumbh Mela fell into the rivers of Haridwar, Nashik, Ujjain or Allahabad (Prayagraj), due to which Kumbh Mela was organized in those places.
Some scriptures about Maha Kumbhak also say that it started from the time of Samudra Manthan when the ocean was churned.

Maha Kumbh is going to be held in Allahabad (Prayagraj) next year.
Uttar Pradesh government has asked to bring new buses for the Maha Kumbh Mela starting in 2025 in Prayagraj.To ensure that people do not face any problem for the Mahayambh fair, the Transport Corporation has arranged about 20,000 new buses. Apart from this, Bihar, Chhatishgarh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Delhi and Haryana will also cooperate in Roadways. Buses will remain operational for Mahkumbh Mela from all 75 districts in Uttar Pradesh.It is estimated that this time 4 crore people are likely to come for the Maha Kumbh Mela.
Railway Administration for Mahakumbh:-
Mahakumbh is going to be held in Prayagraj in 2025 for which the government has made many For Mahakumbh 2025, the government will move about 20 trines from Chhivki.And these trines will be run only during Maha Kumbh.There are about eight railway stations in Prayagraj. prayagraj 8 railway station joki Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Gwalior, Bhopal, Jaipur are such big cities that most of the people have come there to take bath.
In the Mahakumbh, it is estimated that about Rs 40 crore has been spent by the Uttar Pradesh government which has improved about 9 railway stations which include Prayagraj Jakshan, Subedar Ganj Jakshan, Naini Jakshan, Chuvki Jakshan, Rambagh Jakshan, Jhusi Jakshan, Fafamau Jakshan, Prayag Jakshan, Special preparations are underway to run special trains for the fair at Prayagghat Jakshan. And in these, special attention is also being given to renovation and cleanliness.
Uttar Pradesh government has also created the facility of foot route (single route) for the devotees for the walking route from the railway station to the fair area, so that one can reach the fair directly from the station without any hassle without any traffic.
