Ghats of Varanasi
Varanasi is the oldest and holiest city of India which is a salvation city in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Varanasi is also known as Kashi and Banaras. Varanasi is also known as the city of temples because here you will definitely find a temple in every street. Varanasi is also known as the city of Gyan, many Hindu monks live here.
Some lins about Varanasi :- It was in Varanasi that the most sacred text of Hinduism, "Ramcharitmanas", was written. There are four big universities in Varanasi itself. Varanasi is considered the city of Shiva, it is also called the city of lamps.
Vanaras is also called the city of ghats. There are total 84 ghats here which have different special importance in themselves.Out of 84 ghats, in some ghats, worship is done, but in 2 ghats anikarnika and Harishchandra ghat the soul's last rites are performed.

About Manikarnika ghat:- According to the scriptures, the ear flower of Mother Parvati had fallen here which was given by Lord Shiva, hence it was named Manikarnika.Manikarnika Ghat is situated on the banks of river Ganga in Varanasi (Banaras). Manikarnika Ghat is known as the largest cremation ground.
Harishchandra ghat :- Like Manikarnika Ghat, the last rites of cremation are also performed at Harishchandra Ghat in Vanaras.
It is said that the symbol of truth, King Harishchandra of Ayodhya, stood at this ghat for truth, hence this ghat was named Harishchandra Ghat.
From Assi Ghat to Prayag Ghat:-
Varanashi's assi ghat, Ganga mahal ghat, Tulsi ghat, Bhadaini ghat, Kedar ghat, Chowki ghat, Mansarovar ghat, Darbhanga ghat, janki ghat, mata Anandmai ghat, Nishad ghat, Jain ghat, Munshi ghat, such 42 ghats, from assi ghat till Prayag Raj is situated.

Dashwamedh ghat:- Dashwamedh Ghat is the most important ghat of Varanasi. Dashwamedh Ghat is near Vishwanath Temple
Dashwamedh Ghat is near Vishwanath Temple, it is considered very good to meditate on Lord Shiva here.
Assi Ghat of Varanasi:- Assi Ghat of Varanasi is also Famoubse Ghat. Here every year during Shivratri a big fair is held, thousands of people come here.
