Akhara Tour has its own importance in Maha Kumbh Mela. Maha Kumbh Mela is held approximately once in every 12 years. Kumbh Mela is held approximately once in 3 years, Ardha Kumbh Mela is held once in 6 years or Mahakumbh Mela is held in about 12 years in the joy of taking a full circle of Jupiter, then Mahakumbh is planned.
According to the traditional story or scriptures, when Vishnu was taking Amrit to the gods, the devils tried to snatch him from him, which was tied to the four rivers of Amrit, from where he was born in Ujjain, Nashik, Haridwar or Prayagraj or here again. The headquarters of Juna Akhada in Kumbh Mela is near Hanuman Mandir in Varanasi. Juna Akhada was established in about 1145. It is also known by the name of Bhairav Akhada, here is the biggest center of Shaiv Sanyashi. Acharya of Juna Akhara is Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdeshanandgiri.

It is said about Niranjan Akhara that the most educated saints live here. East Dev in Niranjan Akhara is Shiv Ji, son of Kartikiye Ji. The Peshwai of Niranjani Akhara is called Bagambari, which is called horse, elephant, camel, band baja or naga sadhu. The saints of Niranjani Akhara include doctors, Sanskrit scholars, lawyers and professors. During the Peshwai, the religious flag is waved.

Godwada area was established in Shri Atal Akhara. Chatriya, Brahmad, or Vaishya people can take diksha in the top Atal akhada. The main deity of the Atal akhada is Shri Ganesh. In the akhada, the warrior is decorated or Dharmdhwaja is also waved here.

Digambara Adi Akhada is a Vairagi Vaishnav Akhada, it also has a special significance in Kumbh Mela, it is the biggest Akhada in the traditions. The identity of the Digambara Adi Akhada is put on the forehead of the Sadhu or Jatajoot or he is wearing white clothes.
